Region 1 will implement a Future Stars Division in JO competition this year so that athletes who are currently participating in that program may continue to work the developmental routines during the competition season (contact Roger Baldwin - Regional Director for details). In order to support that effort the "2010 BlackJack National" will include that division in the competition schedule. The 'Future Star' division will compete in the Level 8 session on Friday evening at the BlackJack. Winter Cup will compete in 3 preliminary sessions on Thursday this year, expanded from two. See the USA Gymnastics Men's website for entry instructions and qualifications. No video petitions are required this year. Unqualified juniors must show past competitive results to be considered with their petition/application. Do not send entries to me. They should go to the Men's Program office.

This year the BlackJack remains open in all sessions. Business has been a little slow in Vegas so good hotel deals remain. I will post links on the website for those who have contacted me. In addition, some airlines are offering junket packages. The schedule which is published is confirmed at present and should not change for this year.
